  Itinerary
7:00 AM – Departure from Dead Sea
Your tour guide will pick you up from your Dead Sea hotel and you will begin your journey to Petra.

10:30 AM – Arrival at Petra
When you arrive in Petra, your tour guide will bring you through the Siq, a tiny ravine that leads to the magnificent Treasury structure. You’ll have plenty of time to tour the site, which includes the Roman Theater, the Royal Tombs, and many other attractions.

1:00 PM – Lunch break
Following your Petra tour, you’ll dine at a local restaurant.

2:00 PM – Departure to Wadi Rum
Your trip will next take you to Wadi Rum, a beautiful desert landscape that was featured in various Hollywood films like The Martians, Star Wars Trilogy, The Rise of Skywalker, and many more.

3:30 PM – Jeep tour of Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum will be explored by 4×4 jeep, taking in the breathtaking beauty of soaring limestone cliffs, deep valleys, and red sand dunes.

5:30 PM – Visit a Bedouin camp
The stunning scenery of rising rocky cliffs, canyons, and red sand dunes will be experienced by 4×4 jeep in Wadi Rum.

7:00 PM – Sunset viewing
When the sun sets over the horizon, you’ll have a magnificent and unique time sipping tea and listening to traditional Bedouin music beneath the starry sky.

9:30 PM – Return to Dead Sea
Following a wonderful day, you’ll return to your Dead Sea hotel with memories that last a lifetime.

Dress Code:

  • In order to protect oneself from the blazing summer heat, you should use caps, sunscreen lotion, and loose, cool clothing.
Site topography:
The sites are scattered out across a large region at various places and heights, therefore comfortable walking shoes are required.
Walking distance
The walk from the Visitor Center to the Basin in Petra is 4.2 kilometers (2.6 miles), and it takes the same amount of time to walk back to the Main Gate.
