| Amman – Madaba – Nebo – Baptism Site,
You will start the day by visiting Amman Citadel Archeological Museum then drive to Madaba and visit St. George church and visit the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land and Jerusalem. Your next stop will be Mount Nebo, where like Moses you will be able to overlook the Holy Land and the Dead Sea. If the sky is clear Jerusalem, Jericho and Bethlehem will meet your eye.
Your next stop will be Bethany beyond the Jordan River, (The Baptism site).
For Christians, the most significant event associated with the River Jordan is undoubtedly the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist.
The baptism site, known in Arabic as al-Maghtas, is located at the head of a lush valley just east of the Jordan River.
