Itinerary

  • Early in the morning, depart from your Amman accommodation and travel south towards Petra (approximately 3 hours).
  • Meet your guide upon arrival and begin your tour of Petra, beginning with the Siq, a short canyon that leads to the famed Treasury.
  • Visit the Treasury and other important sites in Petra, such as the Monastery and the Royal Tombs, as your guide imparts their expertise of Nabatean history and culture. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Petra.
  • In the afternoon, continue your tour of Petra by visiting more hidden jewels and lesser-known ruins.
  • After finishing your Petra tour, drive to the Ma’in Hot Springs (approximately 1.5 hours). Relax in the natural pools while enjoying the calming and mild mineral-rich waters of the Ma’in Hot Springs. Soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and relax in the tranquil surroundings.
  • After a day of exploration and leisure, return to your hotel in Amman in the evening, feeling calm and pleased.

Dress Code:

  • In winter, the weather in northern parts of Jordan can be cold, therefor warm clothing is required.

Amman and As-Salt sites are spread across a large area at various locations and altitudes, so good walking shoes are required.
