Unearthing Jordan's Hidden Treasures: A Journey through Archaeological Marvels
Begin an astonishing voyage through time with our diligently prepared historical Tour of Jordan, and immerse yourself in a compelling adventure that will reveal the secrets of Jordan’s rich historical legacy, getting you in the mysteries of ancient civilizations.
Day 1 of your remarkable experience begins with us cordially greeting you from any point in Jordan and transporting you to your hotel, where comfort and expectation combine, setting the stage for the delights to follow.
On Day 2, be ready to peel back the layers of history as we embark on a detailed study of Amman, Jordan’s enthralling capital. Immerse yourself in the stories woven inside the ancient walls of Amman Citadel, which houses archaeological treasures and offers panoramic views of the city.
Explore more into the layers of the past by visiting the Archaeological and Folklore Museums, which house an enthralling array of objects that reveal Jordan’s cultural tapestry. The magnificence of the Roman Theater enables you to imagine ancient dramas, while old and new Amman live in peace, symbolizing the growth of this unique city. Explore the old market, where brilliant colors and enticing fragrances recreate Jordanian heritage. We go from Amman to the legendary city of Jerash, often known as the Pompeii of the East.
Admire the beautifully preserved theaters, temples, churches, and colonnaded alleys that take you back to the glory days of the Roman Empire. As the day comes to an end, we return you to your Amman hotel, where you may relax.
Day 3 invites you to explore the gems outside Amman’s bounds. Travel to Madaba, a historic city known for its beautiful mosaic workmanship. The legendary Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, a masterwork that relates biblical history in unmatched detail, may be seen at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Explore the Madaba Archaeological Park, where vestiges of former civilizations bear witness to the region’s long history. Ascend from Madaba to the beautiful Mount Nebo, a site of tremendous spiritual importance. Gaze in astonishment at the wide landscape, which mirrors the scene observed by Moses himself. Descend from the heights and travel to the magical Dead Sea shoreline, the lowest spot on Earth. Allow yourself to be embraced by its therapeutic embrace as you float weightlessly in its mineral-rich waters and enjoy a revitalizing mud bath. As the sun sets, we transport you to Petra, where the fascination of ancient treasures awaits you.
The crown gem of your archaeological trip – Petra – is revealed on Day 4. Allow the early sun to take you along the tiny Siq to the majestic Treasury, an architectural masterpiece carved into the rose-colored sandstone. Explore the Nabatean Theater, where echoes of former performances may still be heard. Explore the Royal Tombs, tracing the elaborate sculptures that honor the Nabatean kings and queens. Explore the Roman Road, which attests to Petra’s strategic importance as a crucial commerce hub. Admire the huge temple and the temple of the Winged Lion, both of which are buried in stories and secrets. As the day comes to an end, retrace your steps back to the main gate before bidding farewell to this old city and retiring to your hotel for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Day 5: your archaeological trip comes to an end. We wish you farewell as we take you from your accommodation to Amman Queen Alia Airport, our hearts full of fond memories.
