Dead Sea to Bethany – Nebo – Madaba and the Mukawir day tour,

Your next stop will be at Mount Nebo, where like Moses you will be able to overlook the Holy Land and the Dead Sea, and then transfer to Madab and the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George with the famous mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, then visit Madaba Archaeological Park.

Next transfer Mukawir, a fortress set on a high hill near the Dead Sea, it is the site of one of Herod’s palaces, and has the tradition of being where Salome danced and John the Baptist was beheadedthen transfer back to the Dead Sea.
