Itinerary
Day 1: A Day of Discovery from Amman to Jerusalem
Let us go on a beautiful adventure that begins at your Amman lodging. We’ll head to the Sheikh Hussein border crossing, where a fresh experience awaits us.
Our first stop will be atop the Mt. of Olives, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the old city. Here, you’ll witness over 4000 years of rich history unfolding before your eyes. We’ll then descend to Gethsemane at the foot of the mountain, cross the Kidron Valley, and enter the walled city.
Along the way, we’ll visit the iconic Wailing Wall and walk the Via Dolorosa, stopping at each station until we reach Golgotha and the Holy Sepulcher.
Next, we’ll meander through the Roman Cardo and exit the town through Zion Gate on Mt. Zion. Here, we’ll have the opportunity to explore the legendary ‘Room of the Last Supper’. As we drive through the vibrant streets of New Jerusalem, we’ll pass by the Menorah in front of the Israeli parliament, a sight to behold.
Finally, we’ll head back to your hotel for a delicious supper.
Day 2: Unveiling the Mysteries of Masada and Mesmerizing Dead Sea
In the morning, you will take a thrilling journey across the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, which is recognized as the lowest point on Earth. Enjoy the gorgeous road as you pass past the Inn of the Good Samaritan, where you can learn about its history. Then, take a cable car trip to Masada, Israel’s greatest archaeological park, to view the ancient remains.
After your excursion to Masada, stop at Ein Gedi to have a relaxing plunge in the Dead Sea’s mineral-rich waters. Don’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy the advantages of the Dead Sea’s black mud or the unique sensation of freely floating in its restorative waters. Alternatively, you may just rest and unwind by the beach.
As the day comes to a conclusion, make your way back to Jerusalem, passing through the fascinating Qumran caves near the Dead Sea. Eventually, you’ll arrive at your overnight lodging, where you may reflect on the day’s great adventures and rejuvenate for the next adventure. Day 3: A Scenic Journey from Caesarea to Rosh HaNikra
Today, you will embark on a scenic drive along the northern coast of Israel to Caesarea, a major architectural achievement by Herod the Great and an historical site where Roman governors like Pontius Pilate once resided.
From there, continue your journey to Haifa and Mount Carmel, offering a stunning panorama of the Bahai Gardens, the cityscape, and the bustling harbor.
Next, head towards Rosh HaNikra to discover its mesmerizing grottos and witness the border shared with Lebanon. Make your way back through Akko to explore the underground city and crypt built by the Crusaders, meander through the vibrant and lively “souq” market before concluding the day back at your hotel. If time permits, a visit to Safed may also be included in the itinerary.
Finish the day by transferring to your hotel in Galilee for a delightful supper and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Exploring Nazareth, Tiberias, and the Serene Sea of Galilee
In the morning, you will start your day with a visit to the Church of Annunciation in Nazareth and Joseph’s carpentry shop. Then, you will take a drive to Mt. Precipice, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Jezreel Valley, a place filled with historical significance from the Old Testament. From there, you will also get a glimpse of Mt. Tabor, the site where the Transfiguration is said to have taken place.
Afterwards, you will travel through Lower Galilee to Cana, believed to be where Jesus performed his first miracle, before making your way down to the stunning Sea of Galilee near Mount Beatitudes. Here, you will visit Tabgha’s Church of Multiplication of the Fishes and Loaves, a significant site in Christian history.
Next, your journey will lead you to Capernaum, known as the center of Jesus’ messianic ministry, before concluding the day at your accommodation in Galilee. It’s going to be a day filled with enriching experiences and historical insights. Enjoy every moment of it!
Day 5: Exploring the Golan Heights and Beyond
Drive along the scenic Yarmuk River, where the borders of Jordan, Syria, and Israel converge. Make your way up to the renowned Golan Heights and reach the Shalom Observation point, boasting picturesque views of the Sea of Galilee. Afterwards, journey to the ancient Talmudic settlement of Qatsrin, dating back to the fourth century.
