On the first day, we’ll pick you up from your lodging and go to the Dana Nature Reserve. This gorgeous park is home to a rich assortment of species, including eagles, ibex, and hyenas, as well as breathtaking landscapes. We’ll walk across the reserve, soaking in the breathtaking scenery and learning about the local flora and animals from our educated guide.
We’ll then go to Shoubak, a fortified fortress built in the 12th century. The castle is built on a hilltop and provides breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. You’ll learn about the castle’s fascinating history as well as its role in protecting the region during the Crusades.
Following that, we’ll travel to Little Petra, a scaled-down counterpart of the famed Petra. You will get the opportunity to visit the ancient rock-cut buildings and learn about the Nabataean culture that previously occupied the region.
We’ll then spend the night in Petra, one of the World’s Seven Wonders. The Treasury, one of Petra’s most recognizable monuments, will be illuminated in a breathtaking show of lights and music during Petra by Night, which you’ll have the chance to see.
The second day, we’ll spend the morning seeing Petra, which the Nabataeans chiseled into the rocks more than 2,000 years ago.
Along with other prominent buildings like the Monastery and the Amphitheatre, you’ll see the well-known Treasury. To ensure you get the most out of your tour, our knowledgeable guide will give in-depth information on the history and culture of the region.

Day 2: Exploring Jerash and Madaba

Begin your journey with a visit to the ancient city of Jerash, known for its remarkably preserved Roman ruins. Continue to Madaba to marvel at its famous mosaic map of the Holy Land and other Byzantine-era mosaics.
