Itinerary

Day 1: Exploring the Hidden Treasures of Ajloun, Anjara, and Tel Mar Elias

Begin your pilgrimage at Ajloun, a town surrounded by lush greenery and home to the magnificent Ajloun Castle. Continue to Anjara, where it is said that Jesus rested and blessed the town’s residents during his journey. Conclude the day at Tel Mar Elias, one of the largest Byzantine churches in Jordan and an ancient site of pilgrimage, worship and interfaith coexistence. Inscriptions on this Byzantine church and its mosaics led many to believe that the structure was built in honor of Elias (Elijah).

Day 2: Unveiling Amman's Treasures and Ancient Ruins at Umm Qais and Pella

Journey to the bustling capital city of Amman, where ancient ruins blend seamlessly with modern architecture. From there, travel to Umm Qais, once known as Gadara, a city mentioned in the Bible as a site of miracle. Finally, discover Pella, a place of refuge for early Christians fleeing persecution.

Day 3: Exploring Madaba, Nebo, and Kerak

Explore the mosaic-laden town of Madaba, home to the famous Madaba Map depicting the Holy Land. Climb Mount Nebo, where Moses beheld the Promised Land before his passing. Follow the King’s Way to Kerak, a Crusader fortress overlooking the majestic Wadi Mujib, before reaching the ancient rose-red city of Petra.

Day 4: Unveiling the Rose-Red Petra

Spend the day uncovering the wonders of Petra, an astonishing city carved into vibrant sandstone cliffs. Wander through the Siq, marvel at the Treasury, and discover the intricacies of the Royal Tombs and Monastery, all set against a backdrop of awe-inspiring beauty.

Day 5:An Adventure through Wadi Rum on a Jeep Safari

Venture into the otherworldly landscape of Wadi Rum, where vast desert expanses meet towering sandstone mountains. Experience the serenity of Lawrence’s Spring and sip sweet tea with Bedouin hosts, immersing yourself in the timeless traditions of this captivating region.

Day 6: Exploring the Wonders of Wadi Rum, Lot's Cave, and the Dead Sea

Visit the legendary sites of Lot’s Cave and Lot’s Wife Pillar, symbols of divine intervention and perseverance. Descend to the lowest point on Earth at the Dead Sea, where you can float effortlessly in its mineral-rich waters. Return to Amman for a night of reflection on the journey so far.

Day 7: A Journey through Jordan River, Fortress of Machaerus, and Umm Al Rasas

Conclude your pilgrimage with a visit to the Baptism Site on the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Proceed to Mukawir, the site of the tragic end of John the Baptist’s life. Finish your journey at Umm Al Rasas, known for its intricate mosaic floors depicting biblical scenes.
Return to Amman for a night of reflection before being driven to the airport for your departure the following day.
