  Itinerary
Pick up from the Dead Sea early in the morning, proceed to Jerash (Gerasa), part of the Roman Decapolis and frequently referred to as the Pompeii of the East, the best-preserved Roman city, and tour its theaters, temples, churches, and colonnaded streets.
Then, drive to Amman, Jordan’s capital, to see the Citadel, the Archeological Museum, the Jordanian Museum of Popular Traditions, the Folklore Museum, the Roman Theater, the old and new Amman, the ancient market, and then return to the Dead Sea.

This journey begins and finishes at the Dead Sea, with arrangements for pick-up from any location or hotel in the Dead Sea area.

Site topography:
The sites are scattered out across a large region at various places and heights, therefore comfortable walking shoes are required.
Walking distance
The walk from the Visitor Center to the Basin in Petra is 4.2 kilometers (2.6 miles), and it takes the same amount of time to walk back to the Main Gate.
