Three Days tour from North Border with 2 overnight at Petra - start at North and end at south Araba border; this tour starts from North Border and ends at South border, arrangements for pick up directly from Jordan side of the border after crossing from Israel,

   
   
   

Day 1:

North Border - Jerash and Amman City tour - overnight Petra:

After crossing the North border to Jordan side, your guide will meet and assist you for visa formalities, and transfer you to Jerash, once known as the land of Gilead, it was part of the Roman Decapolis and is sometimes referred to as the Pompeii of the East, the best-preserved city of Roman times, and visit its theaters, temples, churches and colonnaded streets.

 

Next drive to Amman, you will be visiting Amman Citadel, Archaeological and the Jordanian Museum of Popular Traditions, Folklore Museums, the Roman Theater and then transfer to your hotel at Petra for overnight.

   

Day 2:

Petra tour and overnight:
In the morning begins guided tour, sightseeing of Petra, walk through the gate of Petra to the Djinn Blocks, obelisk tomb, Bab As-Siq triclinium, Petra Damn and the Siq to Treasury, Street of Façades, Nabatean's tombs, the Nabatean Roman Theater, Nymphaeum then to the Roman road (Cardo), the great temple to the basin.

 

Have free time for photos and explore the site on your own, and then back to the main gate to, and then transfer to your hotel at Petra for overnight.

   

Day 3:

Wadi Rum - Aqaba City tour – Araba Border:

After breakfast transfer to Wadi Rum, starting from the visitor center view the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and then drive through Rum Village by 4X4 to Lawrence Spring, famous Khazalai Canyon, ancient Inscriptions and Sand Dunes.

 

Next transfer to Aqaba,start guided City tour, visit Shareif Hussein House, Aqaba Crusader - Mamlok fortress, Aqaba Museum, the Great Arab Revolt Plaza, the Oldest Church in the Middle East, Ayla ruins.

 

Have a short break with some juice, next will have a walk in the local souq, have an Arabic Mazza and Lunch.Next, will be a visit to the south beach and the Saudi border, and finally have free time for shopping and then back transfer to South border and cross back to Eilat.

All visited sites are spread at a wide area at different locations and altitudes, a good walking shose is necessary.

 

Walking Distance:

At Petra Minimum walking distance from the Visitor Center to the Basin 4 KM minimum and the same distance back to the Main Gate.
